Pier Depth

Each pier was set 48" below the surface. Most likely over-kill here in Massachusetts; a cary over from Alaska I guess. But I feel much more secure knowing that my piers are below frost level. I have some special plans for draining water out of the steam room of the sauna and I want the building to remain level. If it moves due to frost those plans will be messed up.
